I have three children; they are, and have been, at the center of almost everything I have done for 23 years. My twenty-three year-old daughter attends Howard University, where she is studying medicine to become a doctor. Her twin brother has his own apartment, working in Los Angeles. My youngest daughter is nineteen years old. I raised her for twelve years as a single father (along with her twin siblings), from the age of two to fourteen. But now she lives with her mother, my ex-wife. I am very close to my children, but they are independent young adults leading their own lives. And very soon, I will have a grandson. I started talking about my children first because I am many things, but I am a father first. Currently, I am a high school math teacher. I’ve been teaching for 30 years plus. And after all these years, I still enjoy it. Yes, teaching math to teenagers has to be one of the most challenging things in the world, but I think I do it well. I’m a hard worker, not just behind a teacher’s desk, but I’ve had a second job for seventeen years working in security, and recently a third job. These jobs allow me to pay for my children’s college, and to travel to many places. My first photo in my profile is in Zanzibar, Tanzania; the second photo is in Venice, Italy; third photo in Buenos Aires, Argentina; fourth photo in Marseille, France; and the fifth photo in Singapore. And honestly, I’ve traveled to Colombia so many times, I call Medellín my second home. So….. Yes, I love to travel the world, and I am looking for a traveling companion. There is more to know about me, for no person’s life can be summed up in two or three paragraphs, but the rest is to be learned by women who are interested in knowing me, and I knowing them.
